Led hiring process of permanent superintendent in 2022, ensuring steady, visionary leadership for the district’s future..
Chair of Policy Subcommittee, 2022-present: Led a comprehensive, multiyear review of entire district policy manual and incorporated MASC and federal updates for first time in 10 years.
Search Committee Member for Two Principals and Superintendent, 2023, 2022, 2021: Successfully worked with staff, administration, and parent associations to identify, interview, and recommend candidates for hire to lead two schools and the district
Member of Housing Production Plan Update Working Group, 2024, Worked with boards across town to complete 5 year update plan that was presented to and approved by Select Board and Planning Board in December 2024
Member of K-5 Back to School Working Group and Vinson Owen Building Team, 2021
Worked with parents / guardians, educators, and administration to oversee logistics of returning students to school full-time in spring 2021 (e.g., advocated for & organized community volunteer survey with the principals; reviewed classroom and lunchroom spaces to meet distancing guidelines, etc.).
End result was a smooth reopening and return to full-time in person schooling by spring 2022.

Fiscal Responsibility / Long-term Vision:
Led development of 5-year strategic plan, Winchester 2030, focused on teaching / learning, community / well-being, & operations and multiyear budget plan to prioritize & invest carefully in staffing and program needs to support all staff & students.
Assisted in budget development and planning, identifying major needs over 3 fiscal years. Supported long-term fiscal planning of district, including multiple risk scenarios and planning over 2-3 year time frame around special education (SPED) costs with the SPED Director and spreading program improvements over a few years.
Supported milestones of the Lynch School Project with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), including securing Town override vote to proceed with rebuild of a net-zero building with Town-owned solar panels — the first of its kind in Winchester. On schedule and under budget for reopening in fall 2025. Projected to result in savings to the Town for years to come.
Supported update to 10 Year Master Facilities Plan and careful analysis of longterm district enrollment, budget planning, capital needs, and building assets to understand needs for partnering with the State on the Muraco Elementary School.
Supported Muraco Life Extension Project for the replacement of roof, boiler, and electrical systems to maintain the Muraco School building another 8-10 years until its replacement.
Support 3-5 year goals for program review, collecting data for understanding performance trends over time, evaluating areas the district would like to improve, and making thoughtful, data-driven decisions

2-term Trustee at WCMS (2018-24) serving as chair of the Governance Committee to recruit new trustees and assist with policy review; member of the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee
Team Manager, SFC New England 2011B Silver Team (2023-24), Coordinated coach, team, and league schedules for regular season and tournaments and organized team-building activities for players.
Winchester Football Boosters Club (2024-present), Team Banquet and Merchandise Volunteer
Coordinator of 6th Grade Enrichment, McCall Middle School, working with educators to revive outside programming to enrich student experiences with curriculum for first time since pandemic
Co-chair International Night at the Vinson-Owen School (2016 - 2022), highlighting the 80+ cultures at the Vinson_Owen School and attracting over 350 participants including town and school officials and community organizations

MASC / MASS Conference, Representative, 2024, 2023, 2021: Networked with MASC officials, superintendents, and statewide School Committee members. Attended seminars ranging from budget planning to transportation, AI, social media policy, partnering with municipal government, etc.
